So my 2 year old starting saying numbers in a row, not really counting yet. The thing is he keeps skipping the number four.

It occured to me he probably doesn’t understand counting, but he understands the sequence. Which you really shouldn’t confuse with counting and many parents seem to do! (Source: my FIL worked at a school)

So I though I would make some simple but cute counting cards, nothing too distracting. For now I am focusing on 1-4 because I really want him to understand. I will upload the others hopefully soon (haven’t made them yet!) and then I will link them here in this blogpost too.
